About Scrapworks
A family-owned recycling network operating across Southeast Texas's Golden Triangle since 2016.
Our story
Scrapworks was founded in 2016 as a family-owned business serving the Southeast Texas Golden Triangle. What started as a single yard in Port Arthur has grown into a network of three public-facing retail yards and a dedicated industrial processing facility — all connected by shared infrastructure, pricing systems, and a common commitment to honest scales and fair pricing.
We operate where we live. The Golden Triangle is home, and we built Scrapworks to serve the region's recycling needs at every scale — from a homeowner cleaning out a garage to a manufacturer retiring an entire fleet of railcars.

Our operating philosophy
Honest scales
Our scales are state-certified and regularly inspected. What the scale reads is what you get paid on — no adjustments, no surprises, at every one of our yards.
Fair pricing
Prices are based on daily commodity market rates and posted publicly. We operate with the same pricing transparency at the corporate level as at our retail yards.
Operational depth
From a single bag of copper wire to a fleet of railcars, we have the facility capacity and operational range to handle it. One phone call, one organization.
Responsiveness
Our commercial team responds to inquiries within one business day. We don't make customers chase us down for quotes, documentation, or updates.
